Kinesiology
AigleLanguages: FRKinesiology is a holistic mind-body method that uses muscle testing as a biofeedback tool to identify and release emotional, energetic, structural and biochemical blockages affecting health and wellbeing. Born in the United States in the 1960s, it combines principles of traditional Chinese medicine (meridians, acupuncture points), chiropractic, psychology and modern physiology. In Switzerland, qualified and ASCA-certified kinesiologists practise in Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Bern, Basel, Fribourg and throughout French and German-speaking Switzerland. Kinesiology is particularly effective for stress and anxiety, fears and phobias, emotional trauma, learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD), concentration problems, lack of self-confidence, creative or professional blocks, chronic psychosomatic pain and supporting athletes to optimise their performance. Muscle testing provides access to the body's unconscious and helps find appropriate corrections (acupuncture points, movements, affirmations, visualisations). As a non-verbal approach, kinesiology is particularly suited to children. Sessions are partially reimbursed by ASCA supplementary insurance.
