1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using KURALIS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Service Description
KURALIS is a platform that connects certified practitioners in holistic and alternative therapies with clients. We facilitate booking sessions and discovering qualified practitioners.
3. Use of the Platform
You agree to use KURALIS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or infringes on the rights of others.
4. Ticketing: KURALIS acts as an intermediary
When a ticket is sold through KURALIS, the contract of sale is between the buyer and the event organizer. KURALIS acts as an intermediary (disclosed agent), in the name and on behalf of the organizer, and is not a party to that contract. The organizer is the seller. They are responsible for the event, for it taking place and for its content, and for their own tax and invoicing obligations in respect of the ticket price. KURALIS charges the buyer a service fee for its own ticketing service. That fee is the only service KURALIS provides to the buyer, and it is invoiced separately. Payments: payments are processed by Stripe and collected by KURALIS in the name and on behalf of the organizer. Payment made to KURALIS discharges the buyer's payment obligation towards the organizer, even if KURALIS has not yet paid that amount out.
5. Ticketing: terms for buyers
Refunds: KURALIS is not responsible for refunds. Any request to refund, exchange or cancel a ticket must always be made directly to the organizer, who decides on it according to the refund policy shown on the event page. Where no policy is shown, the ticket is non-refundable unless the organizer agrees otherwise. Tickets for leisure activities on a specific date are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to distance purchases. The service fee is non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled, where the fault is ours, or where the refund results from a decision by KURALIS. KURALIS may issue a refund without the organizer's agreement in the following cases: the event is cancelled, a card chargeback, an error on our side, or fraud. These exceptional cases do not make KURALIS the guarantor of the organizer's refunds. Complaints: any complaint about the event itself — whether it takes place, its content, a change of date or venue — must be addressed to the organizer. KURALIS can help you get in touch with them.
6. Ticketing: terms for organizers
Commission: until 17 April 2027 inclusive, KURALIS takes no commission on the ticket price, whatever the plan — the organizer receives the full price they set. After that, the commission is 5% on the free plan and 0% on the Plus and Premium plans; schools and commercial accounts pay the free-plan rate. The applicable commission is the one in force at the time of sale. The service fee paid by the buyer belongs to KURALIS and is never deducted from the organizer's amount. Payouts: the organizer's share is transferred to their Stripe account at the time of purchase and paid out automatically to their bank account on Stripe's schedule, without waiting for the event or for it to end. Refunds: the organizer is solely responsible for refunds to buyers. They undertake to publish a clear refund policy, to honour it, and to handle every refund request directly. KURALIS is not responsible for refunds and does not advance their amount. Where a refund, chargeback or cancellation occurs after the payout, the corresponding amount is deducted from the organizer's later sales or debited from their bank account by Stripe. The organizer reimburses KURALIS for any amount it has had to bear on that account, including chargeback fees. Cancellation: if the organizer cancels the event, every buyer is refunded in full, service fee included, and the ticket amount is borne by the organizer. KURALIS may suspend an organizer's ticket sales in the event of unhonoured refunds, repeated chargebacks or fraud.
